My Latest Booklet Published - Grief Observed: Understanding Grief Through Movies

Grief Observed - Understanding Grief Through Movies

My latest book (or booklet) has just been published on Amazon. It offers a interesting way of dealing with grief and mourning. We usually watch movies to relax, but movies offer more than simple relaxation. Movies have the power to inspire us and to help us understand more about ourselves and our emotions. Sometimes, life is difficult and painful. Even though some of us are blessed to live lives filled with joy and gratitude, we know at some point we will have to experience pain and loss.

Unfortunately, I believe that we do not understand grief today and that observing grief in movies can be a great help. This little booklet will introduce you to some great movies to help you better understand and express your pain and grief. It is a short booklet, therefore cheap also, and it only introduces the concept of watching movies to understand grief. There is hundreds of movies today that can help you understand the universal problem of pain when losing a loved one. Check it out now.

  1. Grief is definitely complex. I would love to know more about how movies have an effect on the grieving process that someone could be going through. Sounds interesting.

  2. Grieving is very distressing and if there is something out there that can help make it more bearable that is wonderful. We are all going to go through periods when we are grieving for something and this sounds like a must read for everyone.

  3. It is true, that grief and emotions of loss cannot be understood by everyone and one will never know a correct way to deal with the same. If, movies will help us to deal with such emotions in a better way, then we should definitely try this. Movies can be watched all alone, and thus, negates the possibility where we are needed to talk to other people. I really liked this idea and your book introduction too.

  4. That is a very interesting concept about movies helping people deal with emotions that go with grief. But at the same time it is not surprising. Sounds like a very interesting book.

  5. I will be getting this book because the fact of the matter is, as morbid as this sounds my parents are not getting younger and I am very close to them. I need to be prepared to say the least.
